On Friday afternoon the galleries surrounding the Auditorium
of the Faculty of Architecture of the UCV were ready. Four students from 10 second half of this House would defend Studies grade work before a committee qualifier. And what is new if this school has more than 50 years teaching architecture and its spaces have been witness to many deliveries of design? For
distinctive note referred to on this occasion the students tutored by architect Alessandro Famiglietti
, made their projects at one by one, developed and built by themselves with the help of two separate teams of collaborators . Designed objects are ready to be acquired by a municipal agency or private company and thus become part of the urban landscape of Caracas. The aim of the teacher was to add experience bill management object and their installation and commissioning, thereby paving, the future architect, the first window into the practice. Each proposal is supported by a projection which highlights the processes of design and implementation as well as models of study that led them to take the final decisions.
The experience resulted in four urban toys
and each student develops an idea based on the construction of recreational objects to be inserted in public spaces to promote the integration of citizens and their environment. So: a polyhedron with faces twisted in loud yellow, several wireless plan that offered their faces reflecting on metal pins, a set of flat wood drilled Lakshadweep playing with the light received and printed fabric on the floor and a hill composed of concrete modules tousled by a burst of red fire interact with AlexanderCalder three regular mobile occupants of these spaces filled with light and shadow.
